I run various classes and workshops throughout the year, if you would like to attend a taster session on any of the following activities, please drop me an email for availability. I hope to meet you soon.
Scent Work
Our dogs ability to use their nose is truly amazing, I run various scent classes where we teach the dogs to locate a selection of scents in different locations. It's a great confidence builder for those who may be feeling overwhelmed by life and is also good for dogs that need some help calming down.
Overall it builds a great bond between you and your dog, plus it is so much fun!
Parkour
Teaching our dogs different cues to help them navigate different pieces of equipment such as 2 feet on, under, over, through etc.
This is a great sport to help build confidence and give dogs that spend more time on lead a job to do as there are always objects in the real world that can be used.
We also incorporate some puzzle games, teaching the dogs to navigate a small course of objects independently, great fun for you and your dog and an activity you can transfer to home and walks.
Hoopers
A dog sport that's similar to agility as in it's eventually run as a course but it's suitable for all dogs because it's flowing course with no jumps or contact equipment.
Hoopers is made up of a course of hoops to run through, short wide tunnels, barrels to go round and change direction and a touch mat to run over.
It's great for all dogs including young, elderly or those who perhaps can no longer do agility, working on distance and independent working it builds great handling skills and communication.
